Hundreds march in Cairo to demand an end to diplomatic ties with Israel

Protesters chanted “Gaza Gaza, You’re the pride,“ “Arab states are cowardly,” “Palestinian blood is our blood,” as they carried Palestinian flags.

Protesters are demanding Egypt cut diplomatic ties with Israel and close down the Israeli embassy in Cairo.

A number of Egyptian political forces including the National Front for Justice and Democracy and Hamdeen Sabbahi’s Popular Current have called for the protest.

Nasserists, the Revolutionary Socialists and other Palestine solidarity activists took part in the spirited rally.

On Wednesday night, president Mohamed Morsi recalled Egypt’s envoy in Israel following the Israeli attack that killed at least seven Palestinians, including Hamas leading figure Ahmed Al-Jaabari.’

The unfolding human catastrophe in Iran that Obama boasts of creating

'Iran imports a significant amount of wheat, rice and other food products, if the sanctions drag on, not only could hundreds of thousands of Iranians die due to shortage of drugs and medical goods, the shortage of food could also become very significant.'

'DURING THEIR DEBATE about foreign policy last Monday, President Barack Obama and his Republican challenger Mitt Romney both agreed that the crippling unilateral sanctions imposed on Iran by the the United States and its allies must continue, until the Islamic Republic recalibrates its nuclear ambitions.

Both seem to have also adopted Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s favoured refrain that “Iran must not be allowed to acquire a nuclear capability” and that such a capability constitutes a “red line” not to be crossed at any cost.

Previously the inveterate refrain had been “Iran must not be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon”.

The definition of “capability” has continued to remain vague and ill-defined, and a number of analysts have concluded that the Islamic Republic is already nuclear capable and has all the necessary components it would need in order to assemble a bomb if it so desired. Once a country has mastered enrichment technology it is generally accepted that the decision to weaponise largely becomes a political one.

Both Israeli and American intelligence continue to hold that Iran has not yet taken any such a decision. A crucial caveat is of course is that as a signatory of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) with all its enrichment sites subject to IAEA inspections, if it desired to make a dash for the bomb, Iran would have to withdraw from the NPT. An act that would immediately raise alarm bells across the world and most likely provoke a rapid Western military response.

Apart from the vague and shifting red lines which continue to afflict the thick fog of Western national security rhetoric vis-a-vis Iran, not a single word was uttered by either men about the plight and suffering of the Iranian people who have had no role in the decisions made by the Islamic Republic’s leaders. But, the fact is that the sanctions, exacerbated by government incompetence, have the potential to give rise to a major human catastrophe.’

Theresa May strips British passport from Muslim care worker who refused to join MI5 and may now be in African prison

'A British citizen whose family believe he is being tortured by American secret agents has suddenly had all his rights as a UK national removed by the Home Secretary.

Mahdi Hashi – who MI5 once tried to recruit as a spy – has been deprived of his British passport, denied access to consular assistance and may never return to Britain. He is thought to be being held in an African prison.

Mohamed and Kaltun Hashi, the parents of the 23-year-old care worker from Camden, North London, became concerned for his safety after being tipped off that in the summer he had been taken to a prison in the African state of Djibouti while visiting neighbouring Somalia.

Theresa May has stripped the British passport from a Muslim who refused to spy for MI5
Mahdi Hashi is beleived to be held at a US camp in Djibouti

'Prisoner: Mahdi Hashi is believed to be held at a US camp in Djibouti after he had his rights as a UK national removed by the Home Secretary Theresa May'

The information was passed on by another prisoner who said Mr Hashi claimed he had been ‘mistreated’ and was being interrogated by men working for America.

The Mail on Sunday has established that while Mr Hashi was out of Britain, Home Secretary Theresa May used a little-known power – which does not require a court order – to deprive him of all his rights as a British national.’

Infertility Gene in GMO Corn

'Genetically modified foods are getting a lot of press these days, especially in California where Proposition 37, the labeling of GMO foods, will be on the November 6th Election Day ballot. Why is the GMO industry so upset about having GM foods labeled? Could it be if consumers knew what GMOs are capable of doing not only to the environment but also to the human body, they would not purchase them, as happened in many countries, especially the European Union?

Would you believe that the United States is the only industrialized country in the world that does not permit the labeling of GMOs for either fresh or processed foods? However, 14 states have legislation introduced regarding GMO labeling that seems to be going nowhere fast. In 2005 Alaska passed a biotech seafood labeling law.

Alaskan Governor Frank Murkowski recently signed into law Senate Bill 25 which is the United States’ first law for labeling genetically engineered food. [4]

Interestingly, Michael Hansen, a senior scientist with Consumers Union says, “If companies say genetic engineering is fine, then OK let’s label it and let the consumers make their own decisions.” So what are the biotechs afraid of?

Scientific facts? Being caught with fudged science, especially since the recent 2-year rat study, performed by Professor Giles-Eric Seralini, PhD, at the independent research facility CRIIGEN in France, was published in Food and Chemical Technology. Big Brother or peeping tom? UK installs CCTV in school bathrooms, changing rooms

'Over 200 UK state schools have installed cameras in bathrooms and changing rooms to monitor students, a recent surveillance survey reported. British parents will likely be shocked by the study’s findings.

The survey is based on a freedom of information request conducted by Big Brother Watch, an anti-surveillance activist group. The group said they were shaken by the results, which was much higher and more extensive than expected.

The report "will come as a shock to many parents", Nick Pickles, Director of Big Brother Watch said. “Schools need to come clean about why they are using these cameras and what is happening to the footage”.

- 47,806 cameras used in 2,107 schools
- 207 schools have 825 cameras in changing rooms and bathrooms
- 90% of schools use CCTV cameras
- 54 UK schools have 1 camera or more per 15 pupils
- 106,710 CCTV cameras estimated in high schools and academies in England, Scotland and Wales

A total of 825 cameras were installed in the bathrooms and changing rooms of 207 different schools across England, Scotland and Wales, according to data provided by more than 2,000 schools.’

New Big Brother Spy Camera Software Scans For Drunks in Public

'You may want to think twice about before you plan on going out in public and getting drunk at your local party resort.

That’s the implication of two new computer algorithms unveiled by scientists that aim to help Big Brother’s Skynet surveillance grid award you with the prize of a trip to the slammer. Two different groups of researchers have suggested algorithms that can be integrated into cameras systems to automatically scan for and identify drunk people in public places.

These algorithms can theoretically be tied into pre-existing camera systems such as traffic cameras, surveillance drones, trapwire and CCTV systems already deployed across vast areas of the United States and Great Britain.’

See no evil: London gives Mubarak cronies free pass on ‘stolen billions’ held in UK

'The UK has failed to freeze millions in assets belonging to key figures in the regime of former Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak. Investigative journalist Tony Gosling says the growing scandal shows the true face of British foreign policy.

From £10 million luxury homes in posh London neighborhoods to businesses registered to members of Mubarak’s inner circle despite their inclusion in a British Treasury sanctions list, the six-month investigation, led by the BBC, has shown systemic failures by the UK government to seize stolen fortunes stashed in the UK.

While some $135 million worth of assets belonging to Mubarak, his immediate family, and over a dozen other Egyptians have now been frozen in the UK, publicly-accessible records from the Companies House and Land Registry show that regime figures who embezzled billions from Egypt before Mubarak’s ouster 18 months ago have parked unspecified fortunes in Britain without intervention by the country’s authorities.

The UK is one of the worst countries when it comes to tracing and freezing Egyptian assets,” Egypt’s new Legal Affairs Minister Mohamed Mahsoub said.’

10 Contaminants In Our Food Supply

'It’s one of the public health’s top ten goals for the 20th century, creating a safer, more toxic-free food supply, but meanwhile virtually all food  products are contaminated with various chemicals, bacteria, heavy metals, and residues from pesticides. According to many sources, Americans are exposed to what are called POPs or “Persistent Organic Pollutants” 70 times in one day. Chemicals like DDT and dioxin are moving through the food chain and into the human diet at an alarming rate. Contamination’s from industrial waste and manufacturing plants are tainting our food supply, our ecosystem, and our health, here are the most daunting reasons why.’

7 Crazy Things Pesticides Are Doing to Your Body

'Pesticides are designed to kill, although the mode of action they use to put the stranglehold on pests varies. Whether it's nerve gas–like neurological disruption, the unbalancing of key hormones, or the stunting of a plant's ability to absorb life-sustaining trace minerals from the soil, none of the chemical interventions seems all that appetizing, especially considering that chemical residues routinely wind up on and even inside of the food we eat everyday. Pesticides are also blamed for diminishing mineral levels in foods.

Agrochemical supporters tend to fall back on a “the dose makes the poison” theory, meaning tiny exposures aren’t really that harmful. Increasingly, though, independent scientists are debunking that belief, even proving that incredibly tiny doses could set a person up for health problems that might not crop up until decades down the line. Luckily, eating organic, less processed foods can cut back on your pesticide exposure.

Here are 7 health problems associated with pesticide-based agrochemicals.

(via Why in the World are They Spraying? Full Documentary ~ RiseEarth)

'People around the world are noticing that our planet’s weather is dramatically changing.

They are also beginning to notice the long lingering trails left behind airplanes that have lead millions to accept the reality of chemtrail/geoengineering programs.

Could there be a connection between the trails and our severe weather?

While there are many agendas associated with these damaging programs, evidence is now abundant which proves that geoengineering can be used to control weather.

In this documentary you will learn how the aerosols being sprayed into our sky are used in conjunction with other technologies to control our weather.

While geoengineers maintain that their models are only for the mitigation of global warming, it is now clear that they can be used as a way to consolidate an enormous amount of both monetary and political power into the hands of a few by the leverage that weather control gives certain corporations over the Earth’s natural systems.

This of course, is being done at the expense of every living thing on the planet.’

Europe Elites Complicit in Banking Theft: Analyst

'An economic analyst says Europe is a catastrophe in the making as bankers and politicians hold the power of money creation for the benefit of themselves.

“They are the elite of bankers and the bribed, complacent politicians, aided by servile academics, who uphold the power of the banks because they think that it will increase their own. They are now nicely in control and are anxious to move things on,” Rodney Shakespeare, professor of Binary Economics, wrote in an article . He went on to say that the European elite believe “money creation must only be for the benefit of the banks” and not for the benefit of the population.’
