terrestrial-noesis:

Göbekli Tepe, Turkey

The oldest known man made structure.   Dating back 12,000 years ago this temple is neolithic, predating the Great Pyramid by 7,000 years.  No building tools or signs of agriculture have been found.  Sitting on top of a mountain ridge with pillars weighing between 40 and 60 tonnes, it is currently impossible to answer the question of how these complex temples were built.
